Lunar Eclipse in Pisces Horoscope
On September 7, 2025, a Lunar Eclipse will take place at 15°22’ Virgo.
A lunar eclipse occurs when the Sun & Moon oppose (Full Moon) close to one of the Nodes of the Moon (which are always exactly 180° apart). When the Nodes move through a pair of signs (over approx. 18 months), eclipses happen in the houses of our chart which contain these signs.
Eclipses are dramatic, unpredictable events - however, the stories they represent unfold through longer periods of time & are not always spectacular! A good way to understand the themes they will activate in your life is to look at the & houses the Nodes transit in your chart.
This eclipse brings a moment of emotional complexity and intellectual challenge, as Saturn’s co-presence in Pisces intensifies the need to face difficult realities, responsibilities, or limitations in areas that have been unclear or elusive. This eclipse also opposes Mercury in Virgo, which highlights a tension between emotional or spiritual uncertainty and the drive for logical solutions.
This lunation forces a confrontation between what can be rationally understood and what remains beyond straightforward analysis: Saturn’s weight in this configuration adds a sense of burden or pressure, requiring maturity and careful reflection, while Mercury in Virgo pushes for answers that may not easily come.
It’s a time for navigating the difficult balance between the need for structure and the acceptance of complexity, where rigid thinking must give way to a more nuanced, patient approach to both emotional and practical matters. As usual, undertaking anything is not recommended under the strange light of the eclipse, so make sure to not plan anything important on that day, and to take everything as it comes rather than make grand plans that may prove elusive.
